About Us

Located in historic Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, The Burning Bridge Tavern is a family-friendly neighborhood tavern that loves good food and Live Music!

Our History

Wrightsville, PA's favorite spot for live entertainment and fresh BBQ!

In 2008 a fire completely destroyed the building at 108 Hellam Street. A little less than four years later in March of 2012, the building was renovated, redecorated, and renamed the Burning Bridge Tavern. (Named after the 1863 burning of the Wrightsville Bridge over the Susquehanna River by the Union during the Civil War to stop the advancement of the Confederate Army.) Over the years The Loft was open, a private event space on the second floor as well as The Bobby Magee Room, right next door to the tavern. We now have a beautiful, rustic, family- friendly restaurant and bar that we hope everyone can enjoy!

What They're Talking About Us

Went to the Burning Bridge Tavern today. Our servers were Amaya and Hannah. Both were very knowledgeable of the menu items. I came to this place on Motorcycle with a few other people so we had questions of the area about breweries and vineyards. Both staff members were very helpful. We had a great time. I will definitely be returning here with a larger group of people. I had a buffalo chicken wrap with tater tots.

Casual bar restaurant that pools like it gets lovely in the evening either stage and dance floor. We stopped in for lunch while on the area and we were treated with quick and very friendly service. The food was good, typical of what we expected. And the mixed drinks were very tasty.

I am a long time resident of Wrightsville, and this establishment has become a staple for great bands and some of the best bar food in the area! Last month they hosted their first Drag Show and it was not only an excellent performance, but also an example of what inclusivity looks like in the central PA area. I hope they have more events like this, it is powerful moment for young LGBTQ+ adults to feel scene in their small hometowns. My hat is off to the management who made this event happen.

We were able to grab a table for 6 right away (seat yourself), and were almost instantly greeted by the waitress. Food and drinks were great-prices too!. The band that night was awesome (they did lots of 90s country covers)

BBT is a gem in Wrightsville! Their new manager has been pro-active from day one in getting to know the whole community in our little town. She quickly found out about Wrightsville Presbyterian's free lunch for children and just started showing up with donations of food and drink. Who doesn't want to be part of a business that shows that kind of love for everyone in their community?!
